Subject: good USB card with S/PDIF support in ALSA?

Hey y'all,
I'd like to connect my Fedora laptop to my audio receiver and of
course I have no S/PDIF output...
Does anyone know of a good USB device, that works well with ALSA and
supports compressed multichannel data pass-through? I have seen
reports of issues on this mailing list with M-Audio, any other
alternatives?
Thanks.
Pierre
