X.Org Board Elections 2026

Hi all,

it's a new year and with that a new X.Org Board of Directors
election. Please take the time to log in to members.x.org
and renew your membership for the new period or sign up for
the first time.

These board members' periods will end this year:
- Mark Filion
- Erik Faye-Lund
- Simon Ser
- Neal Gompa

The election dates will be as follows:
    Nomination period Start: Mon February 9th
    Nomination period End: Mon March 9th
    Publication of Candidates & start of Candidate QA: Mon March 16th
    Deadline of X.Org membership application or renewal: Mon March 16th
    Election Planned Start: Mon March 23rd
    Election Planned End: Mon April 13th

Hi,

This seems to be not working. I am not getting the confirmation email (yes, I 
checked the spam folder and it isn't there either).

Is this a known issue?

2nd Reminder: Deadline to renew X.Org memberships for 2026 is March 16.

Hi all,

the nomination period is now over. We'll be announcing the candidates next Monday, March 16.

That is also the date for the membership renewal deadline in order to vote in this year's elections. Even if you were a member in the past you'll need to log in to https://members.x.org/ and renew your membership. The button to do so will be visible after you log in.
