Nice timing!  Support for AR9271 was committed today.  The current
compat-wireless doesn't have AR9271 yet, but hopefully the today's
snapshot have it.

Look at http://wireless.kernel.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/ and get
compat-wireless-2010-03-24.tar.bz2 when it appears there (the latest
snapshot is always recommended).
