These might be nicer reads:
http://biplane.com.au/blog/?p=22
http://biplane.com.au/blog/?p=30
Please note that the actual "ip addrlabel" output on a pristine 16.04
is
prefix ::1/128 label 0
prefix ::/96 label 3
prefix ::ffff:0.0.0.0/96 label 4
prefix 2001::/32 label 6
prefix 2001:10::/28 label 7
prefix 3ffe::/16 label 12
prefix 2002::/16 label 2
prefix fec0::/10 label 11
prefix fc00::/7 label 5
prefix ::/0 label 1
so that catches ULAs in the fc00::/7 already with a label separating
them. I additional add
prefix 2001:638:708:1261:2000::/96 label 99
prefix 2001:638:708:1261:1000::/96 label 99
but that should not matter.

If addresses are equivalent that is a desirable effect. My goal however
was to distinguish between GUA and ULA relying on the RFC for selection
to avoid headaches. I will have to rethink this for sure.

Yes, been there, done that; but I would consider that something no longer needed
in this enlightened age:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBonding#Descriptions_of_bonding_modes
Especially Mode 4. But I think you know them :-)

I will try again to make sure.

Thank you, I will try and report back.
