Subject: [PATCH 2/2] remove KMODPATH_ARG
Date: Tue, 22 Nov 2016 07:59:55 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20161122155955.1038-2-thomas@eero.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20161122155955.1038-1-thomas@eero.com>

This interferes with module install when specifying KLIB.

According to kernel docs, INSTALL_MOD_PATH is the module
install path prefix:

	INSTALL_MOD_PATH
	--------------------------------------------------
INSTALL_MOD_PATH specifies a prefix to MODLIB for
module directory relocations required by build
roots. This is not defined in the makefile but
the argument can be passed to make if needed.

Which causes modules to be installed in
/lib/modules/$KLIB_VERSION/lib/modules/$KLIB_VERSION.
