But keep in mind: It's extremely difficult to simulate a real mesh to measure / compare the overall performance. If you speak German you can have a look into the Wikipedia discussion about deleting the batman article [1]. There is a guy named "PSIplus" who was not convinced by the capabilities of batman and did a large simulation. He was so suprised by the outcome that he changed his mind concerning batman.
