The batman-list is now accessible from gmane webinterface and nntp.
Eventually I'll try to put together the archive and submit it also.

What do you need to upload the archives ? The mailing list already has an
archive - may be we can copy it from there ?

They require an mbox-file containing the messages up to the
gmane-subscription.
