(For people interested in this work) I just want to give an update:
today Mihail and I have been discussing a bit on IRC about possible improvements
to the code.
So the patch is not stuck, it is proceeding towards the final shape :)
Mihail will provide a new version of this RFC and it will hopefully be the
last one.
