Some time ago a guy started to work on a generalization of DAT which
should have been used to implement an IPv6 extension. Unfortunately the
work has never been complete (mostly because of lack of time).
If somebody is willing to continue his work, he could search the mailing
list archive for the last patchset version and continue from there...it
would be really nice! :)
