I got buildroot running on a 9261-EK when it was released. The kernel
patches wasn't really ready but we had what we needed then. This is over
a year ago and before Ulf started working on buildroot.

That was with Qtopia and also one with TinyX (6.8).

I am quite sure you'll get it working.
