No, we use PKG_CONFIG_SYSROOT_DIR="/" when we build packages for the
host, so we can't simply remove support for the PKG_CONFIG_SYSROOT_DIR
environment variable. Unexporting PKG_CONFIG_SYSROOT_DIR sounds like
the good solution here.
