Hello all,

As usual, here is an analysis of yesterday build failures. I'd like to
try to keep the number of failures as low as possible throughout the
development cycle, so that during the debugging part of the cycle, we
can really try to get down as much as possible.

Sonic, Aaron, Ezequiel, Samuel, Gustavo, Eric, Anton and Alexander,
there are questions for you below, please read on :-)

The infamous:

/home/test/test/1/output/host/opt/ext-toolchain/bin/../lib/gcc/i686-unknown-linux-uclibc/4.6.3/../../../../i686-unknown-linux-uclibc/bin/ld: attempted static link of dynamic object `/home/test/test/1/output/host/opt/ext-toolchain/bin/../lib/gcc/i686-unknown-linux-uclibc/4.6.3/../../../../i686-unknown-linux-uclibc/lib/libstdc++.so'

Someone needs to look into this.

Fixed by the merging of Samuel's patches on Python.

Blackfin issue. Sonic, Aaron, can you look into this?

Ezequiel, can you look into this?

Eric, can you look into this problem? A patch was sent for this at
http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/337162/, but I believe it will fix
some cases, but break others.

Can someone investigate this?

Samuel, a Python issue, can you investigate? Maybe it is fixed by your
patch http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/337242/ ?

I'll apply http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/337242/ from Samuel. I'm
surprised I didn't produce the problem when doing my testing though.

Fixed by applying Samuel's Python series.

Fixed by reverting the bump of Flex. Someone however needs to look into
this so that we can at some point bump the Flex version.

Same thing: fixed by the revert of the Flex bump.

Weird, it doesn't find the C++ compiler, even though the toolchain has
one I believe...

Bug in the code ?

Weird, two timeouts in the same package, building the same file, on the
same architecture.

> powerpc | libevdev-0.5 | NOK | http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/dd04833b11a0ebb0193c861cb375b2112dd339d1/

Weird: libevdev has a dependency on host-python specifically because it
needs argparse, which is not available on old machines that have Python
2.6. But now it fails to find the host Python. Maybe fixed by Samuel's
patch at http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/337242/.

Will be fixed once I apply http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/337217/.

I will have a look at http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/335116/ and
apply it after testing.

Mesa3D selects BR2_PACKAGE_HOST_LIBXML2_PYTHON, which should bring a
Python with XML2 support. This is happening after applying Samuel
Python series. Maybe after applying his additional fix it will work
again?

Alexander, can you have a look at this issue?

Thanks!
