If you do that, then you could still select BR2_PACKAGE_HOST_GDB, and end up with a choice where there is no entry... We can do that in the !ARC case, because there are versions that do not require anything, so 8.0 is just hidden and 7.xx are still visible, which is not the case for ARC. Regards, Yann E.
