This could be slightly "optimized", to reduce a bit the duplication:

XXHASH_INSTALL_TARGETS += install_libxxhash.a
endif

ifeq ($(BR2_SHARED_LIBS)$(BR2_SHARED_STATIC_LIBS),y)
XXHASH_INSTALL_TARGETS += install_libxxhash
endif
