Still fails ...
$ echo $PATH
/usr/lib/lightdm/lightdm:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games
$ make
>>> libglib2 2.36.3 Autoreconfiguring
...
>>> libglib2 2.36.3 Configuring
...
checking for stdint.h... yes
checking for unistd.h... yes
checking for LIBFFI... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libffi >= 3.0.0) were not met:
Package libffi was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libffi.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libffi' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBFFI_CFLAGS
and LIBFFI_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
