Actually, I think at the BR developer meeting we decided that even if there are binary-only packages that require softfloat, our defconfig should still use hardfloat if possible (since the defconfig doesn't enable that package). Anyway the point is moot since those binary packages will in my experience also depend on glibc, so the defconfig will not work for them anyway. Also, I can't find this back in the report :-( Regards, Arnout > >> Maybe we should even use EABIhf by default on ARMv6+. > > Yes, I think that it would be a sane default, and it would still be > possible to set EABI for a specific platform for which EABIhf would > not apply. > > Best regards, > Beno?t > _______________________________________________ > buildroot mailing list > buildroot at busybox.net > http://lists.busybox.net/mailman/listinfo/buildroot > -- Arnout Vandecappelle arnout at mind be Senior Embedded Software Architect +32-16-286500 Essensium/Mind http://www.mind.be G.Geenslaan 9, 3001 Leuven, Belgium BE 872 984 063 RPR Leuven LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/arnoutvandecappelle GPG fingerprint: 7493 020B C7E3 8618 8DEC 222C 82EB F404 F9AC 0DDF
