However, in this case, upstream has been inactive for 7 years, so there's not much point following it. In a way, Debian could be considered the new upstream. That said, for 2015.11, this approach is safer. So I'd propose to take this patch for 2015.11, and Ryan's Debian patch for next. Peter, what do you think?
