A similar patch is arguably needed for the stable branches, as we there
do:

TVHEADEND_DEPENDENCIES = \
  $(if $(BR2_PACKAGE_PYTHON3),host-python3,host-python)

But then hardcode --python="$(HOST_DIR)/bin/python"

Bernd, care to send a fix for that?
