Subject: [Buildroot] [Bug 16069] New: Are there plans to add raspberrypizero2w_64_defconfig config?
Date: Fri, 10 May 2024 11:55:12 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-16069-163@https.bugs.busybox.net/> (raw)

https://bugs.busybox.net/show_bug.cgi?id=16069

            Bug ID: 16069
Summary: Are there plans to add raspberrypizero2w_64_defconfig
                    config?
           Product: buildroot
           Version: 2024.02.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5
         Component: Other
          Assignee: unassigned@buildroot.uclibc.org
          Reporter: lists1@afach.de
                CC: buildroot@uclibc.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Raspberry Pi zero 2w is completely capable of running 64-bit OS, since it
contains a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53. My application needs 64-bit
(aarch64). Are there any plans to create 64-bit configuration/definition for
Raspberry Pi zero 2w?

I'm happy to do it myself, but some pointers on how to do this correctly would
be highly appreciated.
