Subject: limiting RSS only with memory controller
Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2014 16:12:05 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <53A88A15.4010802@gmail.com> (raw)
My understanding is that memory.limit_in_bytes limits RSS and page cache
use. I would like to only limit RSS. Is there currently a way to do
that with the memory controller?
If not (which I think is the case) could someone point me to a
discussion on why that's so? The docs [1] reference an OLS BOFs but I
don't see any details on RSS+page-cache limiting in the notes [2] from
that event.

that we handle both page cache and RSS together." -
