From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Bob Peterson Date: Wed, 29 May 2013 11:51:52 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [Cluster-devel] [GFS2 PATCH] GFS2: Don't cache iopen glocks In-Reply-To: <348496101.30641165.1369842657387.JavaMail.root@redhat.com> Message-ID: <1268931104.30641604.1369842712695.JavaMail.root@redhat.com> List-Id: To: cluster-devel.redhat.com MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi, This patch makes GFS2 immediately reclaim/delete all iopen glocks as soon as they're dequeued. This allows deleters to get an EXclusive lock on iopen so files are deleted properly instead of being set as unlinked.
