Steps are decided by the notebook productor, > depending on the quality of the motherboard, the power supply and so on... i see. so acer didnt care much about this fact. i only have one pst in my b= ios=20 which has only 500 and 600 mhz at 1.4volt (2 times each). and the fact that= =20 powernow works under windows means they have their own generic pst for=20 various cpus.. which isnt that ideal too. i wonder if windows even cares=20 about the pst's in the bios.
