When a tarball has been generated with libtool-2.5.0, the check for
dynamic library capability will fail on mips64.
(find is not found and the linker emulation is constructed incorrectly.)

Why would anyone do that? libtool-2.5.x are unstable (testing)
releases, distributed through alpha.gnu.org, not ftp.gnu.org.
Explicitly classified as an "alpha" release in the announcement [1].

According to repology, libtool 2.5.0 has been packaged by:
- Arch Linux -- marked as stable and *only* version of libtool
- Gentoo -- marked as alpha, cannot be installed unless opting in on a
per-package basis, otherwise only 2.4.7 is available for installation.
Whether there are also people building their own libtool by hand I do
not know.
