If the key slot is intact, you can probably get the rest of the header from careful careful reading of the LUKS standard and the data in your luksDump. > If not, is it possible to recover any data on the volume? This question amuses me and makes me sad at the same time. You encrypt your data in order to protect it from unauthorized access. The you loose your header and wish to bypass that protection - if you could do that, your encryption would be worthless. --------------enig959C299DC6BBB5FC10B9481A Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEAREIAAYFAk01wYkACgkQEda5KzHP/VB/SwCfQRrqTQlJaRUufFMVU/x9UEhG i4IAoIpw0FIOVom9lmNH+XK3F4J/SXIz =UFfm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig959C299DC6BBB5FC10B9481A--
