Here you have come to the list dealing with problems with cryptsetup, but as "cryptsetup luksOpen ..." already works for you, this list's job is done (so to speak). I don't mean to chide you, but probably this is the reason why you have not received any answers here yet. Please take this problem to your distribution's maintainer(s) for encrypted volumes.
