Subject: [for-3.19 PATCH 03/17] dm bio prison: switch to using a red black tree
Date: Fri, 17 Oct 2014 02:06:53 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1413526027-21630-4-git-send-email-snitzer@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1413526027-21630-1-git-send-email-snitzer@redhat.com>
From: Joe Thornber <ejt@redhat.com>
Previously it was using a fixed sized hash table. There are times
when very many concurrent cells are held (such as when processing a very
large discard). When this happens the hash table performance becomes
very poor.
