Clang doesn't have this problem. It works as is.

Well LTO has worked for a long time, it is not experimental just
not commonly done since it takes so long to build.

We were doing it years ago at MSFT.

I use Debian testing and GCC 15 but shows up on older versions as well
I get no warnings building main
