Subject: [DPDK/DTS Bug 1976] dts: remove crypto test type and resolve no link error
Date: Mon, 03 Aug 2026 17:22:19 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-1976-3@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)

http://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1976

            Bug ID: 1976
Summary: dts: remove crypto test type and resolve no link error
           Product: DPDK
           Version: 26.07
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: DTS
          Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
          Reporter: abailey@iol.unh.edu
                CC: juraj.linkes@pantheon.tech, probb@iol.unh.edu
  Target Milestone: ---

With the addition of no link topology in 26.07, there is no longer a need for
the crypto test type. Running in a no link topology removes the need for
creating a TG and therefore crypto tests can be relabeled as performance tests
that can be ran in no link mode. This however, causes DTS to crash so the crash
must first be resolved and then the crypto test type can be removed.
