Subject: [DPDK/DTS Bug 1978] dts: make single core performance test configurable
Date: Mon, 03 Aug 2026 17:29:03 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-1978-3@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)

http://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1978

            Bug ID: 1978
Summary: dts: make single core performance test configurable
           Product: DPDK
           Version: 26.07
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: DTS
          Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
          Reporter: abailey@iol.unh.edu
                CC: juraj.linkes@pantheon.tech, probb@iol.unh.edu
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently, the number of cores to use in TREX is hard coded to be 10. This
should be configurable by the user to accommodate different setups.
Additionally, performance variance should be configurable per frame size and
num descriptors rather than a global tolerance and the duration of the
performance should also be configurable.
