Product: DPDK Version: 20.08 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: Normal Component: ethdev Assignee: dev@dpdk.org Reporter: mahx@arraynetworks.com.cn Target Milestone: --- Hardware and System info: NIC: Intel 82599 4*10G NIC SFP modle: 1000BASE-T SFP transceiver (Finisar FCLF8521P2BTL) System: CentOS 7.2 DPDK version: 20.08 Operation:=20 1. plug in the 1000BASE-T SFP module 2. Start testpmd 3. Connect the cable to a switch or another NIC Result: 1. For the first port (the top port) of the NIC:=20 The Link state is always DOWN and the LED on the NIC is always off.=20 But the link is up and the LED in on for the peer NIC(or switch). 2. For the other 3 port of the NIC:=20 The behaviour is normal. I test on two Intel 82599 4*10G NICs, the test result are the same. And I test with Linux Kernel driver with the same case, the behaviour is no= mal for all 4 ports. So it is not a harware issue. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
