I am trying to connect MIPI DSI display to VC4 but it isn't showing anything. I have noticed that the DSI host  transfer() method vc4_dsi_host_transfer gets called for the commands that I am sending from my panel driver, but not for pixel data. The transfer function isn't used for pixel data in video mode. The vc4 panel has never been used for command mode panels, so if you have one of those it will probably be extra work. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEE/JuuFDWp9/ZkuCBXtdYpNtH8nugFAlwX5wYACgkQtdYpNtH8 nujSBg/8DU/uxsInIZLkPJh2ZpuRevLHzx4+fgfT5awQ7ihHNUV7PoTlJeJmNziO Zp0o/g0yS4wGBxEvp3GItChFelony1ivUg8n7BQ9GnXn7UMsFTxFG54xLJQuXXGm tp46+JJBmocvrgfoQqNt48C2Qj7DXCbnXTzcvnKDt6ot48Swr40YmwJzzFvmMKDe nZq5arUmcaHGDr5zUv9hHHlV/y3E4rY2G4A1q1AFfQuo6aK7z8LKu42m76oDMEMh xRYE9W5/9fcjx/PT5Q68VfLEIFVkb2r1Kd9svFilunpfbxBTwp8fwInK/mSXf9Ai 3TU1jKfeEavZwVwcSWUXbUGY3Tx2ZdngdJluP7rtXAcYlasJrH2I9EvJ3qWM7tH9 3/l0OX4SW3MMsiNZIbLZ+WXCsYFeJMO/1M46mEfGWOTo/I4uHdEsoFBu++nGkweQ H4FZKwFliRAmdaHrfWQRoPEqQ8pHKN+LQ4YA7uc5flrCLvqu3w2h6WG3im3lIyb2 IozpPZOL/ZLpFudfsErdNPEM2cd+cXNgMLqMsCHoh7jqgLDXmDQZ+fFwlXFtLeRA /cweclDZDEnUagfuPWjuZbx2OUUIP4bYfH80wD9bzfjl6ncebLntk+Wqd5Lgr6C1 hVae0r4n46aMWAz/oSRcM+EwT/sKAG8oUUgcmRkipRgi53iftSI= =uXSX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=-- --===============1518203327== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: inline X19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX18KZHJpLWRldmVs IG1haWxpbmcgbGlzdApkcmktZGV2ZWxAbGlzdHMuZnJlZWRlc2t0b3Aub3JnCmh0dHBzOi8vbGlz dHMuZnJlZWRlc2t0b3Aub3JnL21haWxtYW4vbGlzdGluZm8vZHJpLWRldmVsCg== --===============1518203327==-- From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Eric Anholt Subject: Re: VC4 DRM Date: Mon, 17 Dec 2018 11:49:54 -0800 Message-ID: <87woo8kk65.fsf@anholt.net> References: <4da735da-047c-e076-3f40-fbe4bad29667@orpaltech.com> <87lg4om395.fsf@anholt.net> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============0099525582==" Return-path: Received: from anholt.net (anholt.net [50.246.234.109]) by gabe.freedesktop.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 56F1D6E6B6 for ; Mon, 17 Dec 2018 19:49:58 +0000 (UTC) In-Reply-To: List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Errors-To: dri-devel-bounces@lists.freedesktop.org Sender: "dri-devel" To: Sergey Suloev , Noralf =?utf-8?Q?Tr=C3=B8nnes?= Cc: dri-devel List-Id: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org --===============0099525582== Content-Type: multipart/signed; boundary="=-=-="; micalg=pgp-sha512; protocol="application/pgp-signature" --=-=-= Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Sergey Suloev writes: > Eric, thanks for answer, > > I am in doubt the type of my panel.
