The looping is there because we need to prepare the request.dependencies list. We can remove that looping rather trivially by passing an amdgpu_fence list (with potential submission= s in progress) to the CS thread as dependencies, and the CS thread can initialize request.dependencies accordingly. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= --14978893041.63672e.1131 Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2017 16:21:44 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated

Hm, I think the proper fix is not to loop on submission_in_pro=
gress in
amdgpu_cs_flush while bo_fence_lock is held. The looping is there because we
need to prepare the request.dependencies list. We can remove that looping
rather trivially by passing an amdgpu_fence list (with potential submission=
s in
progress) to the CS thread as dependencies, and the CS thread can initialize
request.dependencies accordingly.
