https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102207 Bug ID: 102207 Summary: [drm:radeon_get_bios] *ERROR* Unable to locate a BIOS ROM Product: DRI Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: DRM/Radeon Assignee: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: shad0w73@vmail.me Created attachment 133493 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=133493&action=edit dmesg during cd boot with Arch kernel 4.12.3 Hi, I have a Lenovo E420s Laptop with a hybrid ATI/Intel Card and the Radeon Card wasn't detected correctly for ages. Now I noticed that, since I changed my Boot from BIOS to UEFI it is detected correctly at the boot from the Install/Rescue CD but still not at the boot from my hard drive. I am running Arch Linux. The message "[drm:radeon_get_bios [radeon]] *ERROR* Unable to locate a BIOS ROM" appears in the dmesg output during the hard drive boot but not during the CD boot. Because of a suggestion on the Arch BBS (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1730357) I am trying to report this bug here. I hope this helps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
