mplayer decoding output

The VAAPI encoder using Tonga and Fiji cards produces a correct stream when
using the Baseline or Main profile, but using the High profile, the VCE uses
the separate color planes feature, which produces an unplayable stream.  I
tried looking through the code, but couldn't find anything which looks like=
