You are mentioning the 'suspend issue' which is not mentioned in comment #30.
Just in case it's a click mistake :

For me, the black screen issue is fixed with the patch applied to -rc8. Without
the patch to -rc8, the black screen issue is still here.
Then there is the suspend issue, which is not related to this thread.
