Full Kernel Bug Output
Trying to launch RetroArch's Nestopia core with this machine (using an AMD =
Vega
56) throws the following error (full output attached):

This is repeatable 100% of the time (although the number at the end appears=
to
differ).

Do you see this occur on the amd-staging-drm-next branch from: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linux/log/?h=3Damd-staging-drm= -next ? If yes, then it would also help to know more about your userspace environme= nt: - Are you using X or Wayland? - If you're using X, are you using xf86-video-amdgpu?

Pulseaudio HDMI Sink Errors
I'll try amd-staging-drm-next but I've been getting almost non-stop errors =
on
that version of the kernel (anything using audio errors out often) so I've
reverted back to the stock kernel. It happens on the stock kernel too, but =
less
often. I've attached an example of those errors in case it's useful.
Regarding your other question, I'm using Xorg 1.20.3 with xf86-video-amdgpu
