This is an issue on amd-staging-drm-next but not on 4.19.7. I = have not tested other kernels. The issue is that if you put the system in suspend and wake = it up again, the backlight is off. On 4.19 when you resume from suspend the backlight resumes the same level it was when you put it into suspend.
