Subject: [Bug 40495] New: r300 performance is slower on sleep resume
Date: Tue, 30 Aug 2011 09:22:22 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-40495-502@http.bugs.freedesktop.org/> (raw)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40495
Summary: r300 performance is slower on sleep resume
Product: Mesa
Version: 7.11
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drivers/DRI/r300
AssignedTo: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: nekohayo@gmail.com
I have the following on a Thinkpad T43p:
jeff@kuze:~$ glxinfo |grep OpenGL
OpenGL vendor string: X.Org R300 Project
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV380
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.11
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
OpenGL extensions:
When starting a fresh boot with a couple of windows open, gnome shell is fluid.
Keeping the same amount of windows open, suspending then resuming, the
performance when toggling the overview mode seems to have degraded
significantly.
