If the card is separate then I'll probably play around with running two
xservers that share a session, or something like it, so that I can kill one
when I disconnect the media dock.
There do seem to be some issues around hotplugging and thunderbolt that are
causing the USB hub in the media dock not to work but I hope they don't affect
the GPU or they were caused by the GPU audio device crashing.
