But even if I disable compositing and don't touch the mouse or keyboard for a while the state doesn't change. I also doubt that's the problem because # echo high > power_dpm_force_performance_level gives bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument with 2 monitors attached and works fine with 1 monitor.
