What I do know is the power management got way better, and with current drivers I get temperatures comparable (or even slightly lower) than with Catalysts. What I think is key here, is that you are using 9.2, and I get my issues on 10.x. Also, my understanding was that this bug list is for DPM problems in the newest mesa. I don't game, so am not sure about performance. What I do know is the power
