There is no automatic switching, you need to select the state you want via sysfs: /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_state Since it's a policy decision, I leave it to userspace (some users want to switch to battery state others want to stay in performance/balanced). You can have a script listen for ac plug events and select a different state depending on what you want it to do. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --1375397975.CaddCd5.20259 Date: Thu, 1 Aug 2013 22:59:35 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8"

There is no automatic switching, you need to select the state you want via
sysfs:
/sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_state
Since it's a policy decision, I leave it to userspace (some users want to
switch to battery state others want to stay in performance/balanced). You can
have a script listen for ac plug events and select a different state depending
on what you want it to do.
