About three months ago I stumbled upon this very same bug. The system will just
totally lockup, and I pretty much have to force restart the machine. It seems
to happen on any kernel newer than 3.13, least in my case.
I've tried with mesa 10.4, 10.3, 10.2 and even 10.1 and nothing seems to fix
the problem. It was only when I started changing the kernel versions, that I
finally found 3.13 to be stable.
Been using the Oibaf PPA and Linux 3.13 for the past month and a half, and I've
not experienced a single crash, but when I try any new kernel releases it won't
be long until I experience yet another system lockup.
