Subject: [Bug 80162] New: center and lfe channels screwed up on suspend
Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2014 20:09:11 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-80162-502@http.bugs.freedesktop.org/> (raw)
[-- Attachment #1.1: Type: text/plain, Size: 1175 bytes --]
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80162
Priority: medium
Bug ID: 80162
Assignee: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: center and lfe channels screwed up on suspend
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: pierre-bugzilla@ossman.eu
Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
Version: unspecified
Component: DRM/Radeon
Product: DRI
Started out in the kernel bugzilla as I figured this was an alsa driver
problem:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77901
> AMD HDMI audio output. Works fine until I suspend the machine. After resume, center channel is silent and LFE channel is sent as center.

The verdict there though was that it didn't seem like the audio end was doing
anything wrong, so it must be something in the graphics driver.
