Radeon already limits the clocks in certain cases depending on the vbios tables. You can disable dpm which will keep the chip at the default boot up levels (usually some where in the range of 300e/150m) for testing. Append radeon.dpm=0 to the kernel command line in grub. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --1411669761.6babE2.8638 Date: Thu, 25 Sep 2014 18:29:21 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8"

Radeon already limits the clocks in certain cases depending on the vbios
tables. You can disable dpm which will keep the chip at the default boot up
levels (usually some where in the range of 300e/150m) for testing. Append
radeon.dpm=0 to the kernel command line in grub.
