I confirm I have the same rendering issue, all rendering OK until the first
gameplay. During first gameplay, the body of the player seems mostly OK but the
environment flashes violently.

Running
Distribution: ubuntu 15.10
Latest Linux kernel: 4.4.0-040400rc4-generic
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD PITCAIRN (DRM 2.43.0, LLVM 3.8.0)
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.1 (Core Profile) Mesa 11.2.0-devel
(padoka PPA)
