I just received my replacement MG279Q, here is what changed and what didn't.
The monitor OSD still reports 139Hz instead of 144, BUT all artifacts (vert=
ical
lines) are gone.
So to everyone who has these issues ( comment #50 ) with an Asus MG279Q, I
recommend RMAing the monitor with a description of your issues.
I don't know if the fixes are incorporated into the standard firmware alrea=
dy
or if Asus only applies them if you ask for it.
