I've never tried using FreeSync on Linux, and I only very rarely do so on
Windows. With standard drivers on Win10, the range still is 35-90hz. The ra=
nge
can be moved and extended (up to 60-144) using CRU or modded drivers on Win=
dows
though.
I don't know if Asus actually wants/wanted to extend the range and someone =
who
knows FreeSync better might get this to work.
You could ask in the ROG forums, there are other people using the new firmw=
are.
