New info to report. I reinstalled amdgpu and created the xorg.conf file. Th=

was the first time that the installer (XFdrake) reported the resolution
correctly and I didn't have to manually configure it. Now I get a randomly
flashing screen and still no keyboard input. Before, it was a blank screen =

the backlight on, now the light is on/off irregularly every few seconds. I'm
not sure this is progress, but perhaps it is a clue for someone who knows t=

driver well.
