When using hardware decoding with radeonsi along with mpv I ca= n observe aliasing on rough edges. It was previously reported on mpv issue tracker https://github.= com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/3317 but the main developer pointed out that the bug is in mesa.
Does this happen with -vo vdpau as well? If not it sounds like= the deinterlacing shader in mpv doesn't work 100% correctly.

No. I will try and test with mesa 12.0 soon.
I tested mesa 12.0.1 and the problem is fixed. Affected versi= on is 11.2.2.=20 Should I close this one?
I'm still curios what could have been the issue here. But that doesn't sound like something we need to push on.
